Where can i find free web monitoring software?
not the trail version crap i am an older sister concerned for my younger one whom i caught " doing something" on the web cam last night with another boy.i want to go to my mother with it but i need proof to present for when she does it again.I& 039 m not one of them tattle tellers but this is something seriousthat i think needs to be told to my mothermy little sis doesn& 039 t know who is on the other end.though she may think she does.
Is there any way to tell if my parents installed some kind of a computer monitoring software on my laptop ?
My dad is crazy and went on my laptop and through my phone. He saw I was talking to someone who was in a car I was like " are you in a car" because they called and it sounded like it and I couldn& 039 t really hear them , so apparently that means I& 039 m going in cars with 17 year old guys at like 1 in the morning drinking Then I found out that he went through my computer. Which is password protected. I never told him my friends name for me and my name for her, which was the password. I& 039 m a little curious now, and I& 039 m starting to wonder if he instelled something on my laptop. Is there any way I can figure it out ? I tried looking through my installed stuff but I have no idea what half of it is
What is a good computer control/monitoring software?
Wanting to put a computer in the shop for customers to be able to use but I would like to have a safeguard against bad sites as well as vandals. Basically I& 039 m looking for a software that will do the basic blocking of bad sites such as porn and drug related. I would like to have remote monitoring report viewing. Another great feature would to prevent people from being able to change any system settings. Such as folders, backgrounds, wallpapers, and what not. I was looking at something like NetNanny, but this seems more for kids and doesn& 039 t prevent system changes?Any ideas?Let me know
Can x3watch (website monitoring software) get information after I end the task in task manager?
my mom installed this website monitoring program called x3 watch on my computer and it basically emails to her the websites that i go on. if i end the task in task manager, will it still be able to record everything? and will incognito mode on google chrome hide my tracks? thanks

My wife and I have just taken in a flatmate and he& 039 s using our PC which is ok but i would like to create a user account for him and dictate which folders drives he can access, i would also like to keep an eye on what sites and programs he& 039 s accessing, Does anyone know of some free software that will allow me to do either of these things or both? Is there a good network speed monitoring software?
I would like, on a regular basis, to test the maximum bandwidth of my internet connection. We are trying to decide whether to upgrade to a better connection to get more reliable speeds.I am thinking of a tool that would run in the background on my PC, every X minutes, doing a network speed test like the one from CNET or Speakeasy that check max upload and download speeds .I have seen plenty of network monitoring software products, but those are only looking at what is actually happing, not doing regular testing of network performance. Any ideas?Thanks.I would like this to log the results in a file, so over time I could see how this trends, and see if maybe certain times of day the network slows down.
