Free database software?
Somehow, Microsoft Access has disappeared from my computer I may have accidentally deleted it and I can& 039 t find the disc for it. I& 039 m looking to create a decent database, does anyone know of a useful alternative to Microsoft Access, or where I can get Microsoft Access for free?All help appreciated,< 3 Emily

Open Source database software?
I am looking for something that is free and preferably open source that I can use to post newsletters on my website. I have used 1and1& 039 s WebDatabase, but I need more functionality and customizability than what that provides. I do not know how I would do this with MySQL, but if anyone does, that would be appreciated if you would share. Basically I need a way of displaying a name, date, and download link in a user intuitive form of posting the information and using the database that is embedded into a website to download the newsletter. How to create a customized database software?
I want to create my own database software. I& 039 m not a programmer but I like to tinker on this side and this is more of an experimental project. It is real estate that is the main focus. I guess the closest thing that I would be looking to match is Top Producer. I don& 039 t really expect that but somewhere for clients info, sales, and what not. I KNOW I could use Microsoft Access or Exel or Top Producer itself but I just want to see what I can create. I have some experience with html, php, css and mySQL. However, I don& 039 t even know where to being Preferably mac based as well. Any pointers?

whenever i try to use my oracle 10g, it says ORA 12560 TNS protocol adapter error. i have visited many websites but none of their suggested solutions work for me because. if you know how i can solve this problem i& 039 d be happy if you could help otherwise do you know any good alternative besides the ones i mentioned?
Running Alpha4 (DOS) database software on XP Pro O/S, why does the program only fill the top half of monitor?
I was delighted to find that my favorite database software program, Alpha4 similar to dBase3 runs on my computer with XP Pro, but it only fills the top half of the screen. I have a feeling it has to do with setting the system configuration but don& 039 t have a clue about how to make it work I want it to fill the entire monitor.
